Description:

It has a bright ruby-garnet color. The bouquet is an abundant red fruit-characters of cherry and mulberry, with support from a touch of minty eucalypt. Notwithstanding the absence of overt oaking, hints of cinnamon, cardamom and nutmeg are evident in support. The taste is medium-bodied and with more dark fruit-flavours in attendance, the gentle tannins are perfectly balanced by the sweet characters of ripe black currents, mulberries, and cranberries. A lasting and elegant aftertaste rounds off the enjoyment. Extremely friendly in its youth the wine should gain in complexity to an age of three to five years.
